The David Yanir Foundation for the Advancement of Colorectal Surgery in Israel is pleased to announce the appointment of several travelling fellows for the duration of one week in the UK.

This year's fellowships are again supported by The John Furman Fund of the Israel Britain and Commonwealth Association.
The one week travelling fellowship will take place in London. The successful candidates will take part in the Basingstoke M25 colorectal course on 4th-6th March 2020.
The course will be preceded by a two day colorectal surgical attachment in one of the central London Hospitals. The program will take place between the 1st and 8th of March 2020.
The group will travel on Sunday the 1st March and return on Sunday the 8th March 2020.
Candidates must apply in writing by 1th January 2020 enclosing a CV in English with a passport photograph.
Candidates must be qualified in general surgery (Shlav Bet required)
Candidates must be fluent in English.
Preference will be given to surgeons who have undertaken the Israeli Fellowship in colorectal surgery and are Members of the Israeli Colorectal Society.
Particular attention will be given to young surgeons who are contemplating further colorectal specialization, and to surgeons in peripheral hospitals.
Candidates will be expected to provide a detailed report of their experiences in English on their return, as well as write appropriate letters of thanks to their sponsors.
The foundation will expect a financial contribution of 2500 shekels from the candidate or the parent surgical department.
